Schools & TAFE schedule work placements on the WSC Work Placement Calendar in Term 4 for the next year

Form 1: VET / TVET Work Placement Schedule Request

Students register for Work Placement at the beginning of their Year 11 course - no later than the end of March

Online at studentrego.com
Teachers can log in to the WSC Pathways Cloud database and see student enrolments

Schools & TAFE provide WSC with a placement request - at least 6 weeks prior to the placement

Form 3: Work Placement Request Form

WSC Work Placement Coordinators organise the placements

Teachers can log in to the WSC Pathways Cloud database and view placement details

WSC generates documentation for schools, TAFE and employers

Teachers issue placement documentation, including SPR and Safety and Emergency Contact Card to students and supervise them while they fill in their details including their Medicare number.

Students visit their host employer to get SPR signed and confirm attendance details, then return SPR to the school/campus.
The school/campus makes copies of the SPR for each party as indicated at the top of the SPR.
Copies of the SPR are issued.
