ABOUT ClubEDU

Walgett Community College High School with Dubbo RSL Memorial Club

Western Access Schools with Dubbo RSL Memorial Club

The ClubEDU program has five components:

  • Enhanced Work Placement
  • ClubEDU Student Restaurant / Function Activity
  • Master Class at school with a Chef
  • Assessment validation at school with industry expert
  • Post School Pathways

Interested schools can connect with their local clubs via their Work Placement Service Providers (WPSP). Find your WPSP on the WLN website

Interested clubs can contact Beth Beatty at Western Student Connections using the above contact details.

Participating students will have a Student Placement Record provided by the WPSP and Work Placement Journal provided by their school.

The ClubEDU program will provide:
  • ClubEDU Expression of Interest for schools.
  • ClubEDU Expression of Interest for clubs.
  • ClubEDU Agreement (between school and Club)
  • School Organisation Checklist
  • Excursion Risk Assessment & Risk Management Plan Template
The school will complete the Variation to Routine (VTR).

ClubEDU PARTNERS

The ClubEDU program is a collaboration between the NSW Department of Education, Clubs NSW, HTN and MRAEL.
Western Student Connections, the Work Placement Service Provider (WPSP) for western NSW, is coordinating the ClubEDU program across NSW, with Coordinator Beth Beatty as the main contact.
The Workplace Learning Network (WLN), with members being the sixteen NSW WPSPs, is supporting the ClubEDU program and will coordinate the work placement component of the program.
